Woodfiring in Embla - the largest woodfired kiln in Scandinavia - built by Fred Olson from USA.
The workshop is lead by Guldagergaard Woodfire Technician Egle Paksyte and Danish ceramic artist Christian Bruun.
You will find the registration form at the bottom of every workshop description. For the symposium however you cannot registrate. Instead you can apply to become an artist-in-residence during the symposium. Read more on the page for the print symposium.
This is the information you need
Workshop participants usually stay together at the small cozy Hotel Postgaarden close to Guldagergaard at a special rate for our workshop participants only.
But there are several other possibilities around the center in the small town of Skælskør. Only participants in wood firing workshops can stay at Guldagergaard.
All workshops usually take place between 10 AM and 5 PM. Woodfirings usually begin with a meeting at 10 on the start up day and a schedule is then agreed on.
You are most welcome to contact us if you have any questions.
